Elected officials are not involved in a raid. This response is perfectly appropriate response to guarantee officer safety when arresting dealers who tend to have firearms and are intent on using them. The breakin down doors is to be expected. Shooting animals is done only in the case of attack dogs where it is necessary for officer safety, as is shooting suspects. If a suspect is shot, it is because they did something stupid, like reach for a gun.

Oh and learn English, are you saying appropriate which means you agree with the action or inappropriate which implies you believe this behavior is wrong?

Joe,
You should learn how to phrase your question appropriately. To answer your question, yes, this is the correct response. I know you are in the house with your drugs which are illegal and you are probably armed to protect yourself from the other dealers. When I come in your house with my friends, I know these things about you and have no hesitation of shooting you if you don't do what I order you to do. If your dog is trained to attack strangers, I'll kill it as soon as it attacks. Most of all, I'm going to get the drugs, get you, get your property, and get your friends, yes, just for using marijuana. Watch your back!!!

You sound a lot like Eldoradoman. Police do break down doors when they have a warrant signed by a judge. Police do shoot people when they have weapons, and the police do shoot pets when homeowners give those pets orders to attack the police.
