Because basically it just runs all of your Englsh words through a dictionary and spits them out in Spanish in the same order. Basically any translation that you make where the word order would be different in Spanish isn't going to be a correct translation. Plus, sometimes Spanish uses different words for something that might be the same in English .... like the word 'hot' which has many meanings in English and different words for those meanings in Spanish. Or the verb 'to be'... there are two verbs for 'to be' in Spanish (Ser and Estar) and the computer's just going to take a wild guess at which one to use and chances are the translation won't be right. A better way? Ask for a translation for what you want to know on Yahoo!Answers and you'll get a much more accurate translation practically just as fast :p

Hola Jane y Pepe. Feliz Navidad. You can be sure of this because I'm a native speaker.. Many of the answers given before this are translated by a traductor and they don0t have sense =S I hope I had helped you =) byezz Jess =)

Because it already has the words inputted in it and just makes loose connections. Exactly like any other free-input translator.
What, do you honestly think a real person is doing it?

Hi Joey,
It´s a linkage-type program
however, beware, as the translations
although commendable in its quickness,
is not in accuracy.
Sorry but true.
