I've disabled my firewall and my http is correct but everytime I try to upload or download something I get the message saying I'm not connected to the internet or my internet connection is not active. Can someone hlp me.

re-installing didn't work. I think it's configuration. I connect to the net and then I keep getting the message upload 0 download 0.

Start/Run/icwconn1.exe, tis will bring up internet connction wizard,if new connection wizard comes up exit and try again
1.manually configue my internet coonection
2.I connect through lan or dsl
3.automatic discovery of proxy
Finish
Try again on limewire

In the top left hand corner of Lime click file and then connect and wait for bars at bottom left to turn all green or blue if you have pro. I hope this helps. "PEACE"

i haD lime wire ,i liked it so i got the PRO.
then my problems started,
i think that first my PC was sucked of all the info,
then endless problems with the browser,tried to clean the machine but it was to deep into the hikey class roots ,reformated my hard disk then found out that it was destroyed ,and had to replace it,
I will never touch lime wire again,
several people have told me the same sad story
try to find out who the owners are ,they are illuminati linked

Mine says that all the time, whilst still downloading, no major problem , if your only on basic,
upgrade to limewirepro 4.12.3 from
www.download.com ,
much faster than basic.
