Weight depends on height to weight ratio. You can still be skinny and in the right weight group. If you are healthy and active, you really shouldn't worry too much about a little extra fat. If you're eating right and excercising right then no big deal. You'll gain the needed weight eventually. How old are you anyway?
Anyway, you should know, there's a group of ppl who are desperatly trying to lose weight...like me :) Though, eating sweets help you put on weight.

Work out at the gym. I know people associate working out at the gym with loosing weight, but you can actually build muscle and in turn, gain some weight.

Ummmmm; I think you meant "gain." And maybe your not to skinny so what's your height and weight?
