Tell them you have noticed a change and try to get them to discuss your relationship. If they seem negative and don't want to talk, then come right out and ask if the other person thinks your relationship has a future.

People grow apart and sometimes it's too far apart for them to want to try to get back. If thats the case it's best to get it out in the open and move on. Life's too short to be in a relationship that isn't working.

Try to sit down and talk to this person, this person may be under a lot of stress for any number of reasons. Let them know how concerned you are about them and ask what you can do to help. If that does not work maybe check with other family members about any changes or odd behavior they may have noticed. Follow your gut.

The person has probably met someonel else. I am assuming that is the only reason why there is this growing distance between you. Communication is the key. If that does not work, respect it and give the person personal space. And do not take it personal until you know it is because of you. Good luck!

The first thing you do is talk about it, Show you are concerned as you care about the relationship you have. Its okay to be open and honest..pretenting you dont see it, may lead to a breakup. TALKING is the key to everything, and it shows you are willing to step up in the relationship when you see something is wrong.
