If we don't live by the laws of the old testament then how can being Gay be sin when we eat hoofed animals which is a sin according to the old testament? Didn't Jesus come and say we are saved by Grace, he didn't say only Str8's are saved by grace. I'm saved and am Gay. So why do most religious people still think being Gay is a Sin. Not being Saved is a Sin, what about a Saved Gay person that lives by Jesus's word and not the old Testament. Jesus never said being Gay is a sin.

Men wrote the New Testament, in the New Testament, if Gay was a sin don't you think Jesus would have said that. No were in the New Testament does Jesus say being Gay is a Sin. The only people that said that were the people that wrote the new testament decades after Jesus Died. Don't you think if being Gay was Bad Jesus would had said it and pressed the issue?

Romans 1:21 -2:9 specifically addresses the issue and it is in the New Testament so all through the Bible homosexuality is strongly condemed also 1st Tim 1:9-11,Jude vs 7 and 1st Cor 6:9-11 and since God is the ultimate judge of us all and he says it is disgusting morally rephensible and a disgusting perversion of everything clean Holy and decent then that is what it is and you cant appeal to a higher authority as there is none repent and get help pray for forgiveness Gorbalizer

Actually, not all Christians believe that every word in the Bible is to be taken literally. His word IS the final one, but it was also written in completely different times when there were practices that were displeasing to him (there still are, but different ones).

I suggest you look up a writer named Tony Campolo. He argues that Jesus condemned homosexual BEHAVIOR, not HOMOSEXUALS.
In other words, this is not really different from him condemning heterosexual promiscuity. The unfair part of this is, at least heterosexuals can get married and enjoy sex, whereas, homosexuals can't.

Although, there are some that argue that a monogamous, loving bond between two people--ANY two people--is pleasing to the Lord. So, if a homosexual couple love each other and make every effort to remain faithful to each other, then this may be acceptable.

Honestly, most Christians will argue to the death about homosexuality being a sin. Frankly, I'm not convinced that it is. Do some research. Read up. Talk to people. Dare I say it: pray. If you really want to form a conviction about this, you will.

Romans 1:26-32 for starters. If you are "saved" as you proclaim then you would've had to repent of you sin-all of it, homosexuality too. If you continue to live in this sinful lifestyle then you haven't repented of it and remain in disobedience to the Law of God. The Word of God is eternal. The Laws of God are eternal."For if we sin will fully after we have received knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgement, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he has sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace." The answer to your title is 1 Cor. 6:9.
The answer to your heart is to live in that grace and not through a series of rational arguments. There will always be those.
The OT laws are of different magnitude - command - interpetation - decree - commentary etc. That is why we eat hoofed w/o fear.
Jesus did not mention murder or coveting or bearing false witness either.
The decades problem is if you throw out one part because of the argument, then they all go.
Try Acts 10 and the sheet.
Try simply resting on grace and not bothering to prove yourself to others. It only stirs up anger all around and does create the peace for which we live.
NOWHERE do Jesus or the Bible indicate God's love, grace, mercy, or salvation is a matter of sexual orientation. Live for Jesus, not for proving yourself saved. Jesus already did that for you.

As a fellow Gay Christian I can tell you that the Gospels make no direct reference to homosexuality or homosexual behavior.

Saul/Paul makes reference to behavior that is often translated as homosexuality and may be partially accurate since there was a problem in one of the churches with the leaders diddling little boys to get around the adultry rule. Pre-Bar Mitzfa meant posession not person.

I often wonder about Matthew 19: 10-12

10The disciples said to him, "If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry."

11Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it."

For Jesus to speak so specifically about those made eunuch (unable to procreate) in the context of a marriage question and stating that not all can understand what he is talking about I wonder if he may have been talking about homosexuals. I may be wrong but I suspect the predominance of undeveloped testicles was not much more previlent than today and would not recieve special notice by Jesus since most eunuch were products of castration.

When you combine this with Issiah 56:3-5

3 Let no foreigner who has bound himself to the LORD say,
"The LORD will surely exclude me from his people."
And let not any eunuch complain,
"I am only a dry tree."

4 For this is what the LORD says:
"To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths,
who choose what pleases me
and hold fast to my covenant-

5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls
a memorial and a name
better than sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name
that will not be cut off.

and the Stories of Ruth and Naomi's (Ruth 1:16-18) as well as David and Jonathan's (1Samuel 18:1-3) devotion and dedication to each other, I find that we are represented in a positive light in the bible.

It is sexual immorality no matter which way you look at it. It is destructive to the human body as well. In the long run you will pay the price for serving the flesh.

The real issue is not the sin, the real issue is where will you serve eternity. One does not burn in hell because of their sins. One burns in Hell because they did not submit their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

So in reality, your argument really does not make a hill of beans difference unless you are looking for a debate.

So my question to you is are you willing to spend a life in hell forever for a few moments of pleasure of the flesh, which in doing so will destroy you in the long run?

Seems pretty foolish as well as rebelious.

FYI = abusers of themselves with mankind = Sodomite... that is the real word given in the Bible. Homosexual was coined by those pushing the sodomite agenda to "soften" the truth.

ALSO, just because you do not believe in the Law, does not make the Law invalid. You are not a Christian and serve Christ, so you can not claim the Grace of Christ and yes that makes you subjective to the Law.

So here is the Law...

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

It says it in 1 Corinthians 6:9, and even though you claim to be saved, Jesus says that even those who cast out demons in His name but did not the will of His Father, He will say to them:

"I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers".

So even people who think they are on the right track still wont inherit the Kingdom of God

Jesus talked about the destruction of Sodom (Homosexual), that it was from heaven in Luke 17:28 "It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; 29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

Jude 1:7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
