Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

I managed a Plastic Surgeon's office for five years. I just did the office part, I have no "hands on" medical training. I did talk with the patients though. I never had anyone in five years who was not happy with the results. Of course the doctor I worked for was very careful (and a very good surgeon). He made sure that people knew what results to expect. I did not think the scars showed up hardly at all. They are below the bikini line. I know one of your answerers said she had a lot of pain. I don't recall anyone complaining about the pain being excessive. I think everyone is different on this. I remember talking to one lady extensively. She had horrible stretch marks and sagging tummy skin. She didn't really care what she looked like naked, she just wanted a nice flat tummy under her clothes. She was thrilled with the results.
Make sure you choose a board certified Plastic Surgeon.
I never had one myself, but, as I said, I never spoke with anyone who was dissatisfied with the results.
Good luck to you, I am sure you will be thrilled.

$8000-$20,000
Unless you have kids- don't bother with it.
They cut you just below you belly button (which will be reshaped) ang cut all the muscles as well, Pull up and cut off all excess skin and lipo the fat, restretch the muscles and suture them down and stable/glue the rest.
I hurts like hell for about two solid weeks and you have horrible gas and you can't or don't want to eat. Anything below the waist will hurt ya for at least a month.
So it you want a flatter tummy. Go for it. I would actually LOOK at the doctors work.... I did and several of the "belly buttons" were really ugly and I they also had "Frown" surgical marks.
You will have a bikini scar the rest of your life.
Hope that answered your question. Do it after KIDS! Trust me on that one.

This type of procedure usually costs about 4-6 thousand dollars, depending on who you go to. This is a serious procedure, and should take alot of research, especially on the doctor. you need to research the doc, the facility, and all of the pro cautions along with it. how long you'll be out of work, etc.
