A very simple thing is that
[a] Islam came after Christianity.
[b] Islam was the result of a Christian Missionary having tried to "save" the Moon God worshiping Mohammad.
[c] Mohammad claims that Christ did not die at the Cross, but that someone else did; as a result of a "miracle".
[d] Muslims consider Christians "non-believers" and, therefore, people they must kill to "Purify" the World.
[e] Islam had declared itself as the Chosen Race [though I'm at a loss to explain how] and Christianity didn't.
Have a nice day.
PS,
I really was amused to see a Muslim saying that Islam is less "Centralized" ?
I wonder what we should say for a Religion that gives the Right to an Imam to issue a fatwa, or Death Sentence, to a Journalist or Cartoonist for daring to mock Islam?
How de-centralized is this "Religion" where they are so regimented that they must "pray" 5 times a day? Hate all those who are "non-believers" and even exhorts them to kill as many "infidels" as they can, in their life time? Creates an army of suicide bombers? Has terrorist training camps where little children are trained for murder and suicide?

1.) Muslims accept the New and Old Testments as from God, but some believe it is distorted.
2.) Muslims believe Jesus( Peace and Blessing be upon him) was a prophet who was born of the Virgin Mary. We do not believe he was crufied but that it was made to appear so ( because that's what the Quran says, the Muslim Holy Book)
And we believed God raised him upon himself. THus we don't believe in the die for our sins that Christian believers believe.
3.) We believe the Quran is the last revelation from God and Muhammad is the last messenger of God. Christians do not accept the Quran as the word of God or Muhammad (may God's peace be upon him) as the messenger.
4.) Muslims who study scripture do not believe Jesus is returning to Earth. Especially since we do not believe Jesus is God.
5.) Muslims believe the Holy Ghost is Angel Gabriel and Not to be worshipped.
6.) Muslims believe that Holy Scripture has been send down and that there are prophets that we do not know up
7.) We accept all the prophet in the Hebrew and Prophet Jesus text, we also believe that the 12 discples were inspried by God
In a nutshell we are the final phrase of "Judiasm," that believe we have received the final revelation from God. We accept Jesus (PBUH) but do not worship him or think he is the son of God. The Quran talks about some of the prophets in both bibles like Jesus, Abraham, Moses, Lot, and others.

Jesus is a prophet, not God. Women have the same rights as men. Muslims are not to attack anyone that doesn't attack first. Muslims are supposed to accept other religions, only judge actions. Muslims don't believe that you have to be a Muslim to go to Heaven.
These are some of the things that Islam preaches, however, not many believers follow the precepts of their religion. In that way, they are very similar to Christians.

Muslims believe he is a great prophet but not the son of God
they also believe Mohamed to be the last prophet after Jesus

if you look at the original bible it will resemble islam. christians believe in so much that you cant really say whats true and whats not for example they say that jesus is god and they also say that he is son of god. they believe in holy spirit etc... bible is their book which is one diffrent then the other. they have varitey of them and they all have diffrent authors. each verse is diffrent from every book. etc..... they believe in life after death. they believe that jesus died for their sins. etc...... muslims believe in one allah(god), they believe he has no son/daughter/wife etc.... he is one and true. they believe in quran as allahs words reveled to prophet muhammad(pbuh) through angel gabriel. muslims believe that jesus is one of the loved prophet of allah who was not killed but raised and that allah had put another man on the cross that resembled jesus(pbuh), so therefore jesus did not die but was raised and is in heaven and will come back when the world is about to end and when the christian and muslims will togather fight with the jews and jesus(pbuh) will side the christian and the muslims and he will then die, for every man shall taste death. they also believe in life after death and that everyone will be accountable for their own sins and noone will die for your sins. etc..... theirs alot but my hand is getting tired. peace out and take care. may allah help you.

Christianity: belief in the one true God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.
Islam: invented by Muhammed. Denies the divine nature of Jesus.

I have not read this link thoroughly, so be prepared for a slant one way or the other. For a serious comparison, I urge you to look at several websites to glean the true differences.
