The whole cosmos is comprised of a great many "paired opposites" How could we comprehend what "hot" was, without knowing "cold" / happiness without sadness / the meaning of "hard" unless we also knew "soft" /joy without sorrow? How would "wet" have a meaning without its comparison to "dry"? There can be no recognition of a "state of being" unless there is comparison to its opposite. Humans try to make the concept of "good and evil" conform to some different rule. It cannot. It is simply another one of the many "pairings" by which our minds evaluate both.

Good can be defined without evil, but evil can't be defined without good. Huh? Evil is the absence of good, as darkness is truly just the absence of light. Good means that something is beneficial to all involved. Doing good means you're doing things that benefit all those affected by what you do. I don't have to know what evil is to define good.

Most of us who get by without religion don't really think that evil actually exists, evil acts sure but that isn't what you're getting at methinks. Good of course can be defined perfectly well without recourse to the term evil.

I do believe that one can know good without knowing evil. Evil does not need to exist so that good can exist. Good is not just the absence of evil. It is a positive quality with its own independent existence.

There can be no good without evil and visa versa! Just as there can be no con without a pro!

To start with, the spelling is vice versa instead of "vise versa". Then, you may learn what good is and vice versa.

Yes: "My Grace(God) is sufficient for thee".

That is what the end of the Bible does, by giving a last singular "Amen" to "grace" only: "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen."

Law: is good, but it is also evil... not God
Grace: is good, but never evil... God

God is good (only, not both good + evil).
God saw only good x 7: Genesis 1.

Our Father, deliver us from evil: Mt 6:13
We are delivered from the law: Rom 7:6.
What remains is global awareness of it.
For God our Saviour will have two things:
1 - all men saved(graced)
2 - all men aware what they're saved from: law

What also remains is for law to vanish: 1Cor 13:8
Kinda like the real magic is at the end of Merlin movie.
(evil mame vanishes when they all stop acknowleging her)
For law(evil) is old and "ready to vanish": Hebrews 8:13.
And it shall vanish when we let the shew end as written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

The idea that one can only know an extreme by its opposite is a lie that ego tells to keep us away from our Father. I've seen many babies with expressions of utter joy on their faces, and peace, long before they would know anguish, or war.

True good has no opposite, for it is of God, and God is All That Is.
