How does this make you feel? Does he do anything else to make you feel bad about yourself? In what other areas does he control you?
Think back, did you ever ask him to help with your weight control? If you did, has it just gotten out of hand?
Does he do the same thing to control HIS weight?
You need to ask yourself all of these questions. If someone loves you, they try to make you feel better, not worse.
Please give this careful consideration. If you have come here asking for opinions, then something is not right with your situation. Listen to what you already know in your heart. Good luck, honey. Do what is best for you, girl!

Are you insane! Why in the hell would you let him control you that way. What does he want you to be, anorexic? If you don't gain control of your life and stop getting on a scale for him you better! That is emotional abuse. He is fu--ing crazy and you are equally if you let him continue this madness. Get a divorce honey and find a guy is isn't trying to "control" you in anyway. And depending on how tall you are anything over 130 could be your normal "healthy" weight. Your husband is a control freak and needs to learn you aren't his child, your his wife and a grown a-- woman. You should be able to call the shots as to if you weigh too much or not. I can see him giving helpful advice or wanting you not to get to an unhealthy weight but what he is doing is rediculous.

In the traditional, prosecutable sense, no it is not abuse.

It is mental abuse tho. Seeing as you are asking, it means that this bothers you. He is controlling. Too controlling. To the point where it can be dangerous. Is 130 even a good weight for you healthwise? (And I don't give a damn what those stupid height weight ration charts say - screw that)

Besides muscle weighs more than fat. If you were to work out to keep weight off you might end up weighing more than 130 but still look freakin hott!

You need to get some counseling and you need to get help for you and your husband now. What he is doing is not safe for either of you.

Yes. What kind of husband would do that? I dont think he is allowing you by any means to feel comfortable and content in the relationship. It appears that your relationship is purely physical if he is wasting so much time on your bathroom scales. I wouldnt stand for it. It is evidently bothering you and is ultimately abuse- "he WONT let me eat dinner". This man clearly has control issues. Soon he will be testing your urine and checking the dilation in your eyes when he looks at you!

honestly, we are able to make certain many a reaction asserting they get the comparable ingredient from Christians. Which leaves me questioning, if the letter fairly is stuffed with hate and bitterness, can it particularly be "Christian"? (isn't that like a letter from an atheist asserting go searching, you're sure to make certain a author?) What do human beings think of whilst they're writing the letters? nicely.. whilst writing a letter to a stranger, we are able to the two motivate or insult. that is obtrusive the end result an encouraging letter could have, yet what motivates the insulting letter? i'm attempting to image somebody walking as much as a stranger and letting loose with a vicious diatribe of insults. maximum persons in society could say "what's the difficulty with that man or woman? He does not additionally be attentive to that guy and he insults him." nicely...what makes it diverse whilst the medium is digital mail? recommendations from a traveling Prayer Warrior

lady : Even, in a marriage there needs to be functional boundaries to contribute to the flow of the marriage relationship. In this case, NO - it's not permissible for your husband to be chasing you around the house with a weighing scale. Tell him to worry about his own weight and keep himself fit. Love is based on opportunity and choice. If he truly loves you, he will give you the right to choose whether or not you want to eat like a pig and become fat. You have the right to be wrong ! Conversely; if you love him, you will afford him the same right, to dislike your weight gain if warranted. Compromise and eat right - work together in keeping fit ... your health will improve and your sex life will be consistent. Fat ain't where it's at ! ... Good like to both of you !!!

Yes it is abuse!!!! (mental and emotional abuse) so far.
If you keep allowing him to deprive you of your meals then at some point it will become physical. Plus by you allowing such behavior from him, you are enabling him to continue to carry out the abuse against you. My advice to you is to talk to him about this behavoir and that you want it to stop....and take that damn scale and throw it away. If he refuses to stop then throw him away as well. Sweetie, be kind to yourself because when it comes right down to it, the only person you can EVER count on for love and protection is YOURSELF!!!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!

for some odd reason i understand u and u no maybe it isnt that easy to just tell him to stop and does he have a fit body i would call it mental abuse but people can call it was they will but i feel that u have some feeling for him to try to respect him.... perhaps you can talk to him about weighing and stuff
talk about you guys doing it together or living a normal life but try to sound natural so he doesnt yell at u

good luck and make sure u stay safe ok! :I

Yes that is abuse. It is called mental abuse. Does he think you are atrophy or what. 130 pounds is not fat at all. You need to take a stand for yourself and make him stop. If that doesn't work you need to move on with your life without him because with him doing that it is degrading. Besides not eating one meal will not help you lose wt. and it is not healthy for you at all. He needs to understand wt lose and how to manage. If you feel that you are over wt manage it yourself.

Nope, cause you let him do it to you, you need to put your foot down, tell him that you eat when you want to and what you want to. Please I wished my husband would tell me some S hit like that, the couch is a very lonely place at night and he would get tired of using his hands if you know what I mean, but if you let this man control you then that's what he's going to do , people do things to you cause you allow them to.
