christians are actually greet each other with salaam alaikum according to bible. while muslims greet each other with assalaam alaikum (peace be upon you). wow i didnt know that.

Yes, I recently discovered that. Jesus (PBUH)and a lot of other prophets said "Peace be on to You" as a greeting to other believers.

i've never greeted people like that, i've heard peace be unto you used at depatures.
i've greeted people with shalom (shabbat shalom on Friday evenings to Saturday evenings and at my church we greet people with shabbat shalom on Sundays since we can't all greet each other on the real Sabbath) i've used normal greetings like hi, hey, how's it going, i don't even think i know how to pronounce salaam alaikum right

Jews say "salaam alaikum", not Christians. I remember this from, of all things, an episode of "All in the Family" when Louise Jefferson meets Sammy Davis, Jr. (who was Jewish), greets him with it, and asks him if she said it right.

How did you become a spokesperson for Christianity, I've never heard that expression. Christians have no unique way of greeting, I normally say 'hello"

Dunno where you heard that from!! Because we don't greet people like that!! Yeah, we do SOMETIMES say peace be with you...but that's when we depart...and we don't say it in Arabic---;)
