first of all haw why u gonna pick on muslim. i believe he asked about hindu. somepeople are just plain haters any how..... because hindus believe the women doesnt deserve to live and she must die as well so they burn her alive.

But, then, I'm not too sure you can understand English well enough, since your usage indicates you're an Asian and probably a Pakistani; I shall endeavor to make it possible for you understand it.
Hindu women do not "burn to death" when their husbands die, Sir.
An isolated incident of some people having drugged the wife of a man near the Indo-Pakistan border and burned her along with her husband was given wide publicity. The people who perpetrated this heinous act were apprehended and it was found that land acquisition seemed to have been the motive behind it.
They tried to claim that it was a "Hindu" practice which did not hold water in the Court.
Strangely, this incident took place near the Indo-Pakistan border where the majority of the people are Muslim!?
Of course, the Muslims would deny any association with this, like they deny the 9/11 and say it's the Americans who did this to their own; or the London Bombings which are now blamed on a Hindu convert to Islam and, of course a lot of other such things. Strangely though, the incident did take place near the Pakistan border.

some people do not want to live when their partner dies
some people do this in other ways besides burning ...
but this is tradition for those women
unless you were raised with those traditions you wont ever understand that
but all over the world there are traditions that people outside dont understand ..
i am sure you have some also :o)

that is what they use to do don't think they do that any more but some of their customs are just as bad or worse.
The wedding doddery if it isn't enough or the guy just wants another one they burn the old wife to death and marry again.

I hope so, anyway.
Women burning with their husbands is, to me, the sign of ultimate sacrifice and love. They are passing into their next incarnation with their lover. On the other hand, it may be that old, rich men want their young, beautiful wives to themselves, and don't want anyone else to have them.
