My pastor was talking about perspective, and how it is vastly overlooked. The Disciples had just watch Christ die on the cross, state very openly, "It is done," and pretty much seemed to have cost them their livelihood. Here they followed this man whom they thought was the son of God, only to watch him get tortured to death. The dispair they must have felt is vastly lost on Christians today.
