Christianity is becoming very widespread throughout Korea. In fact, when I was overseas in 1998 it was not unusual to see a group of Koreans standing on the street corner, beating a tamborine and singing "Amazing Grace". The final straw for me though was when someone rang my doorbell and it was a Korean lady. We couldn't communicate well so she dug in her purse and pulled out a pamphlet in English from .......the Jehovah's Witnesses! I just stood there and said "you gotta be kidding me. You mean you guys are gonna be knocking on my door even all the way in KOREA?!".

The word Catholic means "Universal" so it is the universal Faith or the faith for all of the world and it was like that until Martin Luther separated from the church.

Because they believe in the teachings of the Catholic Church? Seems simple enough to me.
