My friend and I are planning to go to Serendipity 3 next Friday for lunch. Neither of us has ever been there before--do you

a) Think we need to make reservations for lunch?
b) Have any other suggestions concerning the place?

I would call and make a reservation if you can.

Otherwise, be prepared to wait! Go early and put your name on the list and then you can shop in the area while you wait. It might not be as bad on a Friday as it is on the weekend, but the last time I was there (on a Saturday) it was a three hour wait.

The food isn't that great, so be sure and save room for their amazing desserts!

I would make reservations. It is a cool spot with great food and even better desserts. It's casual so you don't need to dress up.

you need reservations. did you know that they are booked months ahead? i was there last fall, there's this guy who was waiting for like 6 hours. good thing we're not dining in. we just bought tons of souvenirs. call them before it's too late. happy eating.

Maybe I'm just lucky, after shopping, usually just walk in....
