Some scars are sexy. That little one that Holly Marie Combs has in her right eyebrow is cute. The scar on Vanessa Ferlito's nose is downright sexy. They make their faces more interesting. There has to be some kind of story behind the scars. I always wonder what the stories are.
Adding some more ...
All of our children were born normally, but I could see a C-section scar being kind of sexy because of the symbol that it is.

Turn off = depends on guy
Honesty is the best policy on explaining things (if its really personal then wait till your comfortable)
Theres no need to explain a scar unless he asks.. or if you think he is thinking about it. Most likely he would show some kind of concern.. Id hope.
Scars have nothing to do with a serious relationship, relationship should be based on honesty trust connections and all that other good stuff.. not whether you got scars or not. Some people love scars... and could have a thing forem...

I have a scar from between my breasts to almost my hair line down below. I have had a total of 7 operations on my stomach, the first being when I was 8 hours old. I have only been with 1 guy who had a problem with it. He was a jerk. That is a part of me. If a man loves me, then he has to love and accept all of me. If he can't, then he is not a real man.

Honestly, it depends. If it's a big scar, then it might turn some guys off (at least at first). If it's something small, or something hidden by clothes, it won't bother a guy. It can even be something to share between you two, like a secret. I'm sure you've seen movies where a couple is in bed and talking about how they got their scars, heh.

This question has a lot of depends. First are the scars visible? Would he have seen them before he got to know your personality? Your scars shouldn't determine whether or not you are a good person.
I have a scar from my son's birth and it hasn't stopped me from doing anything.

I have well a lot of scars, and when I got into a relationship I just explained what had happened and how I got them.
But only if I thought the relationship would be long term.
And I only had one guy out of three that had a problem with it, he was rather shallow.
But the others had no problem with it.

nope, it never bothers me, I have 5 on my leg from falling down and two long scars on my back which I got that from the iraqi war. I find it cool sometimes, shows that you made it out alive. But as a spec ops, I find it rather distracting because of war memories. bottom line it looks cool and many people ask me about it. It helps to find things to do when your gf wants to talk to you about you or you tell her something.

I have a previous too, and it isn't fantastically. concentration on your strengths, not your weaknesses. I have scars. i want to think about them a "pretend intentions" filter out. If someone would not want to dig deaper because of them, then its their loss. stay constructive. opportunities are round each and every nook.

I have a huge scar on my knee. Huge. And I have never had any complaints from men. If they do ask, I just tell them what happened.
