It depends on what you are looking for. I heard a couple of stories where people met on dating sites and are still happy together. i did it myself and I think it's 50/50.
On one hand, you meet different kind of people , which can help you determine who you really want to be with.
On the other hand, I believe that you meet the one, when it's time to meet that person. It should happen naturally, without asking yourself, where, when, who, or how.

If you want to try, you have nothing to loose, but be careful because you'll never know who can find!!!

Depends on what your intent is. If your just looking for a casual date or sex then usually these sites are no good. If your looking for a LTR or possible end game of marriage then I think some sites are good. People are to busy nowadays to find someone and many people over 30 are not into the bar scene anymore.

I believe it's like just an arena to meet people like everything else: bar, dance club, church, friends, etc....People meeting people in a new light. Internet dating opens doors to people you might have never had the chance to meet. Like other avenues of dating, you have to know what qualities you want and what qualities you can't handle to make a relationship work. And you can't figure out the qualities you want or don't want until you have dated enought to have figured that out. So whatever way you can date and experience life; if you don't take chances you won't really know what you want in your partner and relationship.

No. I have been on many before and they just turned out to be sites for people to look for sex. Never found one person serious about finding love or dating. Most had a girlfriend and just wanted booty on the side.

Nope, see people use false indenties sometimes and the date when you go out with him/her, they turn out to be someone else. Some are even predictors, not just women who should be worry but guys too. Dating sites rarely work.

I think the quality of the date you get is directly proporitonal to the honesty of the people on the site. For me I think honesty would be low online, you can be anyone.

yes and no. I found a great woman and we lived together for 5 years, then she wants to get married and I dont just yet, so she leaves me. I think they work if you want a LTR.

I should of just said yes, but we have both been divorced before (im 40 and she is 35)

Yes, they do work. I met my hubby on one. Keep in mind though sometimes even after you meet someone and everything is great sometimes people get so addicted to them they keep going on them even after they find a potential mate. So be careful and keep your guard up.

nope, too much people sitting in front of the computer doing nothing. They should be physically interacting when meeting people for the first time.
