DELAG, Deutsche Luftschifffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft (German: acronym for "German Airship Transport Corporation") was the world's first airline.
It operated with zeppelins airships since 1909.
In Italy the first regular service was Trieste-Torino, the airline was SISA(società italiana servizi aerei) and started in 1926 with Cant 10 seaplanes.
I heard about BAT(British aerial transport) that started in 1919 flying "charter"(only 4 passengers) flights in England an to Europe, something like modern aerotaxi.
