Hi, Im just wondering what are some tactics people do to study. I read the work from the book, and have notes from the teacher, and take my own notes from the book....is that a good way to do the things....I find it so hard to keep myself from being bored. Anyway if anyone has any ideas share them please. Thanks

Caffeine. LOL I have the same problem with dry, boring material. You just have to make yourself do it. Flash cards are one method I've successfully used.

1. Read the material in the text.
2. Read it again, making flashcards for vocabulary and concepts.
3. Study the flashcards several times through over a period of days.

Writing the information on the flashcards uses other neuropathways in your brain and that helps you to remember it. It is also your second time seeing the material in the book and thinking about it. That will help.

Repetition in reviewing the flashcards helps the memory and anyone who does this knows it works.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Well, when I study History (oh my gosh I think History is sooo boring!!!) to entertain myself I make fun of the history section I'm reading. Or joke about them. Than I actually remember stuff better.
