a very easy to make and very good chocolate silk pie. You will need:
(1) 10oz hershey bar (broken into squares)
(16) large marshmallows
1/2 cup milk (preferably whole or 2%)
(1) pint heavy cream
8-10 inch grahm cracker crust
In a double boiler add milk & marshmallos (if you dont have a double boiler you can use a standard pot, but use very low heat as chocolate & marshmallos burn easily) stir often until marshmallos are almost all melted. add all chocolate & stir constantly untill all is melted. Pour into a large bowl and let cool at room temp(do not put in refridgerator) when chocolate mixture is cool, beat heavy cream in a seperate bowl about 3 minutes or until thick like cool whip. Using a spatula fold the two together until mixed (do not over stir) dump filling into pie crust. cover and chill 6 hours.
*** for other variations, stir in 1/4 cup peanut butter or cocoanut when you take chocolate mixture off the stove. Do not put peanut butter in while cooking as it tends to have a burnt peanut butter taste...
Hope you enjoy!!!!! Tim

Charlies Chocolate Passion is a recipe that came from a priest that i have in my recipe files.
Use a trifle bowl or other deep glass bowl.Cut store bought brownies, frosted or un frosted into cubes and put a layer of them on the bottom of the bowl.Spread seedless raspberry jam on top and sprinkle with fresh raspberries or thawed frozen ones.Mix store bought(already prepared)chocolate pudding with some Kahlua or Frangelico, just a few tablespoons full so the pudding doesn't get to watery and still has pudding consistency.Spread a layer on top of the raspberries.Crumble orea cookies and almond Rocca on top of that layer and drizzle a little more Liquer on top.Whip heavy cream with a little sugar to whipped cream consistency and top the cookie/candy layer.Repeat the layers twice finishing with the whipped cream.Garnish with berries, candy and oreos.People have been known to eat this with thier hands at some of my parties,so decadent.Enjoy.

Peppermint Brittle
2 pounds white chocolate
30 small peppermint candy canes
Line a large jellyroll pan with heavy-duty foil. Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave on medium setting for 5 to 6 minutes. Stir occasionally, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Place candy canes in a plastic bag, or between two pieces of waxed paper. Using a mallet or rolling pin, break the candy canes into chunks . Stir peppermint into melted white chocolate. Spread evenly in pan, and chill until set, about 1 hour. Break into pieces by slamming pan on counter.
(You can substitute milk or dark chocolate for this recipe as well)

Concentrated Decadence (Microwave Fudge)
18 oz. (1-1/2 bags) chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla
Mix all the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave for another minute. Stir. If it is smooth, then skip to the next paragraph. If it is not, microwave for another 15-20 seconds and stir again.
Spread into a 9x9" or comparable sized baking pan. Cover and refrigerate an hour. Remove from the refrigerator and cut into desired-size pieces. Return to the refrigerator until you are ready to eat.
OR
Obscenely Easy Truffles
12 oz. milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup sour cream
2 T. liqueur*
Coating*
Using a double boiler, melt chocolate chips (microwaving seriously alters the texture and they won't taste right), stir until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream and liqueur. Stir until smooth; mixture will thicken quickly. **Chill about 2 hours.
By teaspoonfuls, shape into small balls, then roll balls in coating. Place on naked cookie sheet or pizza pan; chill until firm.
*I like to "coordinate" the coating with the liqueur, though chocolate sprinkles will go with just about anything. Some combinations that work:
Amaretto - finely chopped almonds
Dark rum - finely chopped walnuts
Bailey's - confectioner's sugar or coconut
Creme de Menthe - confectioner's sugar or green sprinkles
Grand Marnier - unsweetened cocoa powder

Death by Chocolate
Someone found my query on something called the Green Pines website. Now, if I could only find the person who asked for the recipe in the first place ...
1 box (1.8 oz) fudge brownie mix
1/4 to 1/2 coffe liqueur
3 packages (4 serving size each) instant chocolate mousse
8 chocolate-covered toffee candy bars (1.4 ounces each) (like SKOR or Heath bars)
1 large container (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Bake the brownies according to the brownie package directions; let cool. Prick holes in he tops of the brownies with a fork and pour the coffee liquur oer the brownies; set aside. Prepare the chocolate mousse according to the package directions. Break the candy bars into small pieces in a food processor or by gently tapping the wrapped bars with a hammer. Break up half of the brownies into small pieces and place in the bottom of large glass bowl or trifle dish. Cover with half of the mousse, then half of the candy, and then half of the whipped topping. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.
Note: Instead of coffee liqueur, you can substitute 1 teaspoon sugar and tablespoons leftover black coffee, or leave out the coffee flavoring entirely.
HAVE FUN! HAPPY THANKSGIVING ~ MERRY cHRISTMAS

Get some fresh strawberries. Go to the baking aisle and get the dark chocolate for dipping. They even sell it in a container that you can microwave. Dip the strawberries in the chocolate about 2/3 of the way and lay them on wax paper. You can refrigerate them.
