What is a good topic for a persuasive speech?

you can talk about if ur in favor of abortion.
You can also pick the topic immigration and talk about how immigrants affect the country. talk about illegal immigrants and legal immigrants. write about how immigrants have affected the economy in a good and bad way and in which way u think they affect it. also talk about how immigrants are making this country over populated because immigrants come from many countries and when they get here, they have kids which go to school so that also means that schools are gettin over populated and also talk about how many immigrants have helped improve the country in many different ways.
what im tryin to say is that u should be a side, if ur in favor or not of immigration, then write about it

well, i'll give you some suggestions then you decide. hope they help :)

drugs, cigarrette smoking, abortion, capital punishment, environment issues (saving trees, saving wildlife, recycling,etc), health (foods that could cure cancer/diseases, processed foods that cause diseases/cancer, mass-production of cow/chicken/pig versus farm-grown animals,etc), help the poor or disabled, erm... virtues or music or fashion now compared with last time, etc.
