How do I change the currency the iTunes Store runs in?

I recently reloaded iTunes and the store was running in japanese yen. Not only will it not let me purchase music with my american credit card it only displays japanese music. Can anyone help change this?

I checked to see if you could via my iTunes, but I don't see how it's possible.
