Overall chances are quite low for all Soldiers, including 74D Chem Dawgs. Not alot of WMD/CBRN going on oversea right now. Also, it depends upon rank-are you an NCO? If so the chances are slightly higher.

I work at the Chem School/Ft Wood (Nord Hall-where you learned Decon equipment...). Every few months we'll get a very small batch of IRR Soldiers, for a quick refresher training before deploying. Condiering the 2000+ 74Ds we train each year, it's a small chance you'll go.

Would you like to go?-We get many reservists who've volunteered.

Well your on IRR right now so your chances are very very low. I was in IRR about 3 years ago and I got "asked" by a letter if I would like to reenlist. I turned it down. Most likely they will ask you if you would like to reenlist or be put back into a reserve component before they would just deploy you from IRR.
Your specific MOS I really don't think would be considered a "high need" right now. Really unless your in combat arms or an MP i don't think you have much to worry about.
