Yes we should interfere.
If there is any test to see what we are going to do on earth, I think that test is to see how we respond to people who need help.
The Old Testament, the New Testament, and the Qur'an all emphasize feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, teaching the ignorant, and not chiding away the beggar. I don't think it has any thing to do with "well, if God is supposedly a loving God, then why does he allow all this terrible stuff?" I think it has everything to do with what we (you included) do about it.
I think the worst of anybody who says "I am all about helping the poor, but those people need to learn how to help themselves." There is all kinds of scripture that says those people are screwing themselves.
So we could all stand out beside the road with signs that say "God hates fags," or we could do whatever we can to move to a neighborhood far away from all the indigent people so we never have to think about them. That or we could interfere and support interfering groups like Harvesters and Habitat and Salvation Army.
You ask if we should interfere. I think it's better for us if we do, whether or not there is an afterlife.

It could be the beginnings of the end times. But it might not. God does not will us to hurt others and He does not want people to starve. So, sure - feed them. Stop wars. Unfortunately, the wars will not stop, and people will starve until the world receives it's Lord. But that should not stop us from doing what we can!!!

I believe God is in control- and us interfering would not change His will. The Bible speaks of these things happening....prophecies of the Bible do come true...I believe that we are nearing the end times- and I hope and pray the Lord will come back SOON!

It is more Along the Line of "you Reap what you Sow" and GOD Allows it to Happen--HE has to, HE can't Hold it Back (the Bad Stuff) Forever (HIS Mercy).
We Force HIM to Remove HIS Mercy by Continuing in Sin (Disobedience, mainly).
Yes, Pray for Everybody, Everywhere.
GOD's Wrath, (when HE does it) hasn't hit the Earth YET!
Everybody has Time to Repent and Turn to GOD, EVERYBODY.

God has allowed it. Therefore, it is His will by permission. They only thing to do to interfere with it is to know Jesus.

I strongly believe it is God's will that we DO interfere. Loving thy fellow man and letting him starve to death are mutually exclusive in my book...

I guess god never desired to feed his belly before it turned into a basketball. I guess his answer to everything is "I have a plan".
