No. Angels are creatures that are not human. I guess all the art depicting angels and other forms of media has influenced the belief that people become angels.

Angels are a created being. The only humans created was Adam and Eve. When we die there is no record of us becoming angels. When angels are talked about in the word of God it says they were created.

Nope. Cats are cats. Dogs are dogs. Angels are angels. Humans are humans. All will remain so.

I'm not sure where the idea started, but I know in the late 1800's during the Victorian age, a lot of people started it up again.

NO. It would be a demotion. According to judeochristoislamic teachings, Humans are Humans, Angels are Angels, both are a separate creation. With the exception of Elijha, who was transubstantiated into the Archangel Metatron according to Jewish Talmuddic sources, no human has ever been given such a blessing/curse (of course, Metatron got access to the vaults of divine knowledge & wisdom, thus coming to know and understand all G-d knows and understands -- pretty big payoff).

No we don't become angels. Angels are different beings altogether. They are made of light are neither male nor female, don't eat drink or procreate. Angels are created by God for a different purpose than humans.

We are neither angels, nor demons, we neither are of the female gender, nor the male gender.

We are simply spirit beings, with a soul (intellect, will, and emotions) in heaven.

Do not allow others to convince you that we become angels, or that we are male or
female, in heaven and procreate in heaven to have spirit-babies (mormonism) !!

All of those myths are the furthest from the truth.

We are spirit-beings that are now part of God's family in heaven.

Nope we don't. I believe there are a certain amount of angels that were assigned this status by God, but I don't think there are any more. I just looked it up at

Dude, there's only one way to find out for sure, and I'm not ready to do that yet. Who knows, we might become space ships that can go really fast. That would be way cool.
