Ckuck-E-Cheese Birthday?
Does anyone know how much it would cost to do a birthday party at a chuck-e-cheese for a 3 year old and with about 60 invites. I have a huge family all with little kids and thought that chuck-e-chesee would be a good place to make my daughters birthday, but just the amount of people is huge and have no idea how much it would cost. Do you know aprox. thanks.

Chuck. E. Cheese, unfortunately, is geared more towards children age 6 and up. They only have a very small toddler section and it definately is not enough to keep a large amount of toddlers busy. Not to mention the basic package is 10.99 per child so if you had 40 children you are looking at $450. Not counting $9 per extra cake because the cake only feeds about 10 people. Any food you want for the adults must be ordered seperately which is expensive. You would be looking to spend close to $550. I would recommend looking for a facility that is geared towards toddlers. If there is a park near your house with a playground that could be fun or if you have a large yard or know someone who does you could have it outside with a bouncy house. If the party is in the winter you could see if your town has a fun center type place with a large area geared toward toddlers. Dont forget small children get tired and bored easily so you dont want a place where you are commited to a party with a long time frame. Chuck E Cheese parties are 90 minutes long and it is very chaotic and hard to keep an eye on small children. Good luck.

It sounds like you have a large family and places like this are NOT accommodating to such a scenario. I know, because I have a similar family/friend situation and I have always done my daughters parties at home for a fraction of the cost and the parties were themed and 10 times more PERSONAL!

The parties there are on a schedule with kids running everywhere, and too expensive. I guarantee you, you would come about better ordering pizzas at home and figuring out how to make this into a nice pizza party. You could do something as simple as asking all guest to wear your son's favorite color, get balloons in that color, a FABULOUS cake and taaadaaaa it's a party! Oh! I did the color thing on a 3rd and 4th bday and the picture were GREAT! People participated and the decor was wonderful, so just consider this idea to save money.

Three years old is too young for Chuck E Cheese. He will not enjoy it and the huge mouse might even scare him and the other kids. We took out kids to Disneyland when they were 4 and 6 and both were terrified by the huge rat walking around the place. I would wait till he is 5 or 6 years old before blowing a bunch of cash on C E C.

look Chuck-e-cheese up on yahoo they have a page where you can make reservations. I think here the avarge is about 10.00-14.00$ per child i think it's very overpriced to have them do the cake and everything. I always had a party at home then later that day took just my kids and a few others to the acual pizza place 4 games and pizza. i honestly think 60 people would be to many to have for such a young child.

My grand-niece had her birthday party there. The kids all loved it. The adults had varying reactions. The place is full of things for kids to do. And lots of noise.

The thing I liked best was that when it was time to leave, you were checked to be sure you weren't taking home a kid that didn't belong to you.

The Chuck-E-Cheese web site http://www.chuckecheese.com/

Question: How much does a party cost?
Answer: Prices and packages vary by location. In order to check the price at a location near you, go here and click on “Make a Reservation”. Then select the desired location and indicate the approximate number of children and adults attending the party along with the desired time and date. The screen that follows will provide you with a complete selection of prices and packages for that specific location.

Please note, most locations also offer special packages for hosting parties on weekdays. To learn more, go to http://www.chuckecheese.com/html/parties3.html

The best thing I can suggest is to drop in on the web site and check out their information...it appears to have a lot to do with regions.

to me honestly a 3 year old wouldn't enjoy it at chuck e cheese except for the show that they put on for about total of 5 minutes the only ones benefitting from going would be the adults. the games there are to advanced for 3 year old to have fun on. i know this from experience of taking my 13 year old there and he has a 3 year old brother he didn't enjoy it it was actually miserable for him to much stimulation going on too so if you could do something else that would be better 60 is quite a few ppl to have at one time

Not sure the price but I would beg you to change your mind. My friends daughter had her 3rd birthday there and it was awful. The things there are really for much older kids. AND on top of that , they had 5 other parties going on all around us, it was crazy.

the basic package is $9.99 per child with 16 tokens and the super package is $14.99 per child with 24 tokens.

For 20 kids the basic is about $200

For the super it's about $300

This does not include anything for the parents.
