rub the grill down with a towel dipped in oil... if you're cooking a whole fish than you can lightly spritz the outside of it with some olive oil as well.

there are a few ways. first of all it could depend on the cleanliness of your grill. if you have any food particles left on ur grill from the last time u used it then u should always scrap ur grill while it is still hot either before u use it or after as it is easier to clean this way.
before u heat ur grill depending on what kind u have u can either spray it with Pam. Pam keeps the meat from sticking to the grill. second you can either cover the grill with aluminum foil before u heat it and the fish will not stick to anything or third which is one of my favorites. wrap you fish in aluminum foil and create u a pocket when u do so. don't allow the aluminum foil to touch the top of the fish but make a hole in the top to allow moisture to escape through the top. just a little hole will do.
keep an eye on it cause the fish will not take long to cook if u do it this way cause all the heat trapped in the pocket of aluminum foil u created is actually cooking the fish and by all means keep the heat low on your grill. season with some lemon and pepper seasoning and a pat of butter and a slice of lemon before u wrap it and it will taste so good it makes u want to go next door and slap your neighbor.

You need to make sure the grill is very hot before placing the fish on it, this method will reduce the fish from sticking. But before placing the fish, you need to spray some non-stick grease on the hot grill which would help you even further.

You can get one of those wire baskets meant for grilling fish. It stops it from sticking, makes it easy to turn and you can put some whole herbs in the basket to flavor the fish.

Rub a cut potato on the hot grill - the starch acts as a natural nonstick coating.
