I m planning a trip to NY city, anyone know any good hotels in NY, or in NJ-- closer towards NY city? If I stay in New Jersey, how long will it take me to get to times square or JFK airport? Does the New york water taxi stop in New Jersey?

Hi, there are several ferry routes to the city, some go downtown and others midtown. If you take the ferry to midtown, you are within minutes of Times Square. JFK Airport would require you to take a cab or the subway (Train to the Plane) which you could get at Times Square.
Consider the ferry to Belford or Atlantic Highlands for a visit to the NJ shore area.
