How do I deal with lice?

i have lice in three of the girls in my classroom. what can I do to keep the rest of the kids from getting it. and also I might have eggs in my hair, what can i do in my apartment to keep from spreading

if you have actual bugs in your hair the best way to get rid of the annoying pests is to put mayonaise in your hair...not miracle whip the old-fashioned kind
it smells like god-knows-what and you have to shower at least 3 times in order to get it out but no more lice and it kills the nits on the plus side
with the girls in your class i suggest bringing it to the attention of the nurse so she can send a note home telling the parents

Firstly, to get rid of the eggs in your hair just cover your hair with any thick conditioner. Then get a lice comb(from chemist shop) and comb out the eggs. The conditioner makes it impossible for the lice and eggs to stick.

Then you can get a spray to spray on your hair to actually repel lice from your hair. Keep using it everyday.

And do the conditioner treatment regularly to check that you have got all the eggs and lice.

oh, and wash your pillow slips and hair bands etc aswell. And also, keep your hair tied back; lice need strands of hair to climb onto.

Ok. Buy a bedding spray, common in drugstores. Spray bedding, also the couch or anything you might have laid on. Get a special lice shampoo, RID works great. Use it once, following directions carefully, before combing COMPLETELY THROUGH YOUR HAIR!!!!! Follow up with the shampoo again, a week after.
