Well, East L.A. is identical, the houses might be made of something different, but I have seen goats in the backyards, graffiti, trash, gang affiliation, vendors, mexican flags, spanish as the primary language, women with 5 or 6 kids and one on the way whom can't even afford the clothes on their backs. I See this stuff every time I go to an area over in that direction. BUt don't just focus on that area. People have moved out of east L.A. to other parts, Inviting all their familty from back home to come live with them. Before you know it Every house on the block is owned by Mexicans supporting their families illegally. This is spreading rapidly and it's scary. Can you believe it's this way in Orange County, CA? Of all places. I was just told I was over qualified to rent an apartment in Anaheim. A majority of the residents were of hispanic origin, even the office staff was all of hispanic origin, and then it dawned on me. Is that discrimination towards me? Overqualified to rent a place? How is that possible?

I've actually been to Mexico on vacation & although some parts are run down... there are some very beautiful places to visit. They can make it work in their own country if they truly wanted to. Mexico isn't a poor country the way pro-illegals want us to believe. It is corrupt... but that is still just an excuse, because the U.S. has it's own share of corrption. Heck the whole world is corrupt for that matter. The only reaso they want to stay here is for the freebies. Wouldn't you... if everything were given to you on a silver platter just for being here illegally??? I totally blame our government. We, as American citizens must put a stop to the invasion. Not of immigrants (like yours or my family) but "ILLEGAL" immigrants. Oh yeah... you forgot to mention the loud colors they tend to paint there houses in the poorest communities. lol

It sure is!......Kinda like Tiajuana, but filthier. Thanks entirely to to illegal immigration, you find ugly spray paint graffiti, litter, pollution, substandard housing, Mexican flags, poor command of the English language, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, rapes, poor education, poor community values, no or really low morals, no ethics, and drug-related gang warfare that accompanies the problem.

No, you are not racist, you're just not very intelligent. The parts of Mexico I've been to, are far superior to any city in the USA, including beautiful Hawaii. Like you very clearly pointed out, there are bad cities in every state.

Mexico and L.A. are two different worlds with L.A. being the garbage dump. Mexico is far superior to what you call the quality of some parts of L.A.

L.A. has clean water (relatively). It has a working political and legal system. It has a strong and growing economy. It has rights protected by the American Constitution. L.A. is hugely different (even in its worst areas) than Mexico. That is why so many Mexicans want to live there!

Yes! Did you see that video of parts of California where illegal Mexican are known to live? They showed little huts with plastic for doors and they used the bathroom wherever. It was filthy. I bet that didn't stop them from continuing to breed, however.
