If you liked what you read, then why wouldn't you want to read more or find out more?
Talk to Jehovah's Witnesses, you may be suprised at what you hear. We are all imperfect.
By the way, take notice of the "thumbs down" to all these ridiculous answers from people who haven't got a clue about the Witnesses. They don't know any better really.

Jehovah's witness are the only people who don't go to war so it must mean something.they seem to love everybody and they call him by his name not just god and they didn't change the bible like someone else said in one of your Question's go and see what they are all about it might shock you to know that they read from the bible not just add anything in as they go along.... I'm not a Jehovah witness but i do like to look into other peoples faith and to me they seem to have a answer to everything you ask and not lead you away from the question you asked like most religion's do...any religion that opposes war has the thumbs up for me and i tell you there is no other religion out there that hasn't been to war... any Christian will tell you that they are going to heaven but that's not true because in the bible (every ones bible) it says 144000 will be there that's a heck of a lot less than the population of all the Christan's in the world at the moment

The issue is less about Jehovah's Witnesses and more about Jehovah God the Almighty. God's Word the Holy Scriptures quite plainly explain that humans can disqualify themselves from receiving everlasting life; it is only the faithful COMPLETION of a life course that assures salvation.
(Zephaniah 2:3) Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, who have practiced His own judicial decision. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. PROBABLY you may be concealed in the day of Jehovah's anger. [emphasis added]
(Amos 5:15) Hate what is bad, and love what is good, and give justice a place in the gate. It MAY be that Jehovah the God of armies will show favor [emphasis added]
(Matthew 7:13-14) Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.
(Matthew 24:13) But he that has endured TO THE END is the one that will be saved. [emphasis added]
(Philippians 2:12) Keep WORKING OUT your own salvation with fear and trembling [emphasis added]
(Hebrews 10:26-27) For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, 27 but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment
(Hebrews 5:9) [Jesus] became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those OBEYING him [emphasis added]
(James 2:14,17) Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if a certain one says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it? ...17 Thus, too, faith, if it does not have works, is dead in itself.

You have "3" correct answers, as while I am writing this: "Achtung_h" "Fivelight" I appreciated because he said he was not a "JW" by his answer, he should be, then "Destiny"
This is a little long, but I hope you take the time to read it.
When you ask a ??? pertaining to Jehovah's Witnesses, unless a Witness answers your ???, all you receive is a bunch of utter nonsense, lies, they know very little about JW's.
Who are most of these people? Some just hate the teaching of JW's, but many are disfellowshipped, apostates, a disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion. Why did they leave or were disfellowshipped, here are some reasons:
Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.
You say that you like the sound of it BUT?
I am guilty of so many of their sins!
You are not quilty of any of Jehovah's Witnesses sins, we only point out what Jesus and the Apostle's wrote in the Bible, And the sins that you speak about, can be corrected, you need to do what Jesus said, when He was praying to his father Jehovah:
John 17:3
"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ"
What you and your partner need is, a "free home bible study" if you are sincere in the study, within 6 weeks, 1 hour per week, you will recognize what you are studying is the Truth, you may at any time stop the study, if that is your wish.
The Bible shows that, while Jehovah does not approve of wrongdoing and wrongdoers, he is not a vindictive God, calling persons to full account for all the wrongs that they have ever done.
No, God is not at all like that. As the psalmist long ago expressed it: “If errors were what you watch, O Jah, O Jehovah, who could stand?” Rather, he assures us that, if we really leave our bad and harmful ways and turn to him, “he will forgive in a large way.”
the example and teaching of Jesus and his apostles give you like encouragement. Jesus held out hope of forgiveness even to prostitutes and tax collectors (considered among the vilest sinners in his day) who appreciated their need of him and repented of their former course of conduct. As he told his critics: “Persons in health do not need a physician, but the ailing do, I came to call, not righteous people, but sinners.”
Jesus was not accepting people in their sins as they were. Rather, one of the most important aspects of his ministry was to cure men of their spiritual illnesses, enabling them to be accepted by God because of their changed way of life.
If we are anxious to gain life everlasting, in the favor of God, then it is necessary that we repent, that is, feel sorrow and regret for our sinfulness and imperfection and our sins against God’s law. If we really feel sorry and hate ourselves for being sinners against God, we will try to get out of that sinful state and to cease from sinning.
You said "I read the leaflet from the Jehovah's Witness (see last Q) and like the sound of it" Well it is all true, it's going to happen very soon,
why not contact the "Kingdom Hall" of Jehovah's Witnesses, and ask for a woman, one of the Sisters in the Congregation to come see you, ask her all the questions that you can think of, if your partner will be there, then maybe ask for a man, one of the Brothers, or ask for both .
If you have a Bible, let them show you the Truth from your own Bible.

You must seek God not the JWs.
This is probably best done through His Word, the Bible.
Remember that you cannot fool God but if you are serious and genuine about it He will answer you, you will find.
If you continue, sooner or later He will show you what you need to know. God deals with everyone in the way He sees fit so I cannot tell how that might be.
Only I know He uses His word, The Bible.
And I know because I found Him, or should I perhaps rather say, He found me.
I urge you then to seek Him and to keep seeking Him, no matter what. If you do, you will find Him - that's His promise.

Toss the leaflet.
Send them away.
Read the Bible for yourself; make your own decisions.
God still loves you, hates sin, and has provided the final solution.

When you study with the Jehovah's Witness, you agree to attend five meetings a week where you are taught from Watchtower literature. You cannot be baptized until you have studied their material for at least six months and have answered numerous questions before a panel of elders. Men are not supposed have long hair or wear beards and women are to dress in modest apparel. They refuse to vote, salute the flag, sing the "Star Spangled Banner, celebrate birthdays or Christmas, won't take blood transfusions, and they can't join the armed forces. A schedule of door-to-door canvassing is required where you distribute the Watchtower literature, acquire donations, and forward all monies to the headquarters in Brooklyn, New York.
If you ever leave the Jehovah's Witness organization, you are considered an apostate and are to be shunned.

The reason you don't see, is because you are blinded by sin. You have convinced yourself anything I do is OK. As long as no one gets hurt. WRONG! Sin brings guilt, dispair, shame and condemnation from God. But, God has provided you with a way out. Someone who will Always be with you. Jesus Christ. He died in your place. "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord had laid on him (Jesus) the iniqutiy of us all." Isaiah 53:6.
"If we confess our sins, he (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9. He also said; "I tell you, Nay : unless ye repent , ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:3,5. "That whosoever believeth in him (Jesus) should not perish , but have everlasting life."
John 3:15.
The choice is yours ask and be forgiven, repent not and be lost.
Get down on your knees and acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. He will hear you! Tell Him in your own words. You can lay it all on Him. He took your sins to the Cross and washed them with His blood. Remember, when He forgives, He forgets!
Your sins will no longer exist.
The Bible also says that today is the day of salvation. Do not put it off for another day. That day may not come..
Jesus said; "I AM the way, and the thruth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." John 14:6
God bless you for your confession.
Stay away from the Jehovahs Witness, ALL they teach is wrong.

TRUTH is fact that is real. Things are not TRUE simple because a person feels or hope or believes that they are TRUE. Their beliefs and hopes however were not in harmony with fact. Education SHOWS us how to think; Propaganda TELLS you what to think. People do not create TRUTH; they reach out to comprehend it.
You do not have to look very far to see the many religions. Jesus points us to the very means by which we can reconised those types of religions who claim to serve his father, Jehovah. He said, . “By their fruits you will recognize them,” for “every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces bad fruit”.—Matt. 7:16, 17, NW. This is quite evident today.
The Bible does not agree with the modern view that there are many acceptable ways to worship God. Ephesians 4:5 says there is “one Lord, one faith.” Jesus stated: “Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. . . . Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.”—Matt. 7:13, 14, 21; see also 1 Corinthians 1:10. As Jehovah christian 'witnesses', Their beliefs and practices are not new but are a restoration of first-century Christianity. (Isa. 43:10-12)
The road that leads to Truth: If you were on the wrong road, would pride or stubbornness prevent you from admitting it? There cannot be two sets of truth when one does not agree with the other. One or the other is true, but not both. Sincerely believing something, and practicing that belief, will not make it right if it really is wrong. How should you feel if proof is given that what you believe is wrong?
To illustrate: Say you were in a car, traveling for the first time to a certain place. You have a road map, but you have not taken time to check it carefully. Someone has told you the road to take. You trust him, sincerely believing that the way he has directed you is correct. But suppose it is not. What if someone points out the error? What if he, by referring to your own map, shows that you are on the wrong road?Would Pride or stubbornness prevent you from admitting that you are on the wrong road? Well, then, if you learn from an examination of the Bible that you are traveling a wrong religious road, would you be willing to change by avoiding the broad road to destruction, to get one the nation road to life?
(John 17:3) "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.",NW
Naturally, we are free to choose which path to take. But, since our eternal welfare is at stake, that choice is virtually important.
If we really wish to surrender ourselves to God we have to settle in our mind an important problem regarding religion. 1). Is it God’s will that there are so many religions in the world? 2). And, is he content to see people trying to worship him in many different organisations with different beliefs, religious rituals and even different moral standards? God is a God of harmony But the different religions of mankind are not in harmony with each other. They fight one another, persecute one another, and contradict one another.
True religion has not failed. True religions “produces fine fruits” especially love. (Matt. 7:17; John 13:34, 35) What united international brotherhood of Christians practices such Love? (1 John 3:10-12) True Religion has not failed. It directs people to the only one capable of solving mankind’s problems.
On a global scale Jehovah's Witnesses are known for thier fruits:
After attending a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses, a reporter from southern Europe commented: "These are people with strong family ties, they are taught to love and to live by their conscience so as not to harm others."
Another journalist, formerly negative about the Witnesses, stated: "They live an exemplary life. They do not violate the standards of what is moral and right."
A political scientist similarly remarked about the Witnesses: "They behave toward other people with profound kindness, love and gentleness."
In the Italian church magazine Andare alle genti a Roman Catholic nun wrote the following about Jehovah’s Witnesses: “They are worthy of our admiration for the way they refuse any form of violence and without rebelling put up with the many trials inflicted on them because of their beliefs . . . How different the world would be if we all woke up one morning firmly decided not to take up arms again, whatever the cost or the reason, just like Jehovah’s Witnesses!”
The Italian newspaper Il Corriere di Trieste observed: “Jehovah’s Witnesses should be admired for their firmness and coherence. Contrary to other religions, their oneness as a people prevents them from praying to the same God, in the name of the same Christ, to bless two opposing sides of a conflict, or from mixing politics with religion to serve the interests of Heads of State or political parties.” (Note how this harmonizes with 1 John chapter 3, verses 10 to 12; see also John 13:35)

Don't join the Jehovah's Witnesses, that's for sure. They follow a false prophet and are full of legalistic doctrines like most of the other cults. Come to a good Christian church like the one I attend http://www.alcf.net
We tell people to come as they are 'cause God loves them just as they are but He loves us too much to leave us the way we are!
