59.4 percent of seats were occupied on the average domestic
jet flight, in 1991. This year, it is about 80%!

The latest data by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics says the load factor is 78.8%. That represents a 2.7 pt increase over 2005.

I'll accept the above, but every flight in and out of the bay area, domestic and international, seems to be stuffed to the gills.
