The standard for pit crews was set by the Wood Brothers.
It was refined by The Flying Aces(Dale Seniors crew)
Got some polishing by The Rainbow warriors
Today it is hard to pick a crew because there are 6 or 7 crews that are really good.
Wow owners my favorite is Richard Childress followed by Joe Gibbs.
Good concept with this question.

The # 17 Dewalt crew has won the Pit Crew Challenge a few times.
Roush Racing is #1!

He has an awesome pit crew, they really proved themselves when Chad was out.
Rick Hendrick is just all around a good guy.
Jeff Gordon is a good car owner too.

Granted I'm biased, but Tony's crew has consistently had great pitstops, often gaining him a position or two in the races on the stops.
The Pit Crew Challenge is a nice test of skills, but one also has to consider how the team performs in a real racing situation.

Owner....It is hard to pick an owner...I am totally a dedicated DEI fan, but as far as ownership, you have to go with the power players...Gibbs, Hendrick and Roush...they just have it going on, SuperPower Teams...
Pit Crews, Kevin "Bono" Manion, #1 Truex Jr., young team, but very good...

I am not sure about team owner....but I definetly think Tony Stewart's pit team has done a superior job! They are amazing! They gain Tony so many positions, and do such a perfect job, never missing a beat. I'm so proud of Tony's whole team! What impressive guys!
