Credit card debt is an open ended account and the statute of limitations in Ohio is 6 years, not 15 years.

Most creditors will stop trying to collect after six months of being late. If the amount is high enough they will either sell it to a third party collection agency who will try to collect of they can take you to court. If it goes to court they may go after any assets you may have. They can put a lean on your house or anything you own. That means you cant sell your house or possession until you pay the creditor off first. The courts will decide what they can and cannot do.
