Carrotts contain beta carotene and do aid in the anti-ageing process, but don't keep you looking young if the rest of your diet isn't so great, but you do sound very healthy!

But carrotts are full of vitamin C which build up your immune system and they are also anti-oxidant in their properties, so cleanse out the body of unwanted toxins. They are also full of water and this aids the cleansing process more, like peppers and cucumber and explains why you crave them more and possibly because you are also dehydrated.

Whilst the carrotts are getting rid of the toxins, your body will be flushing water content to rid the toxins out and why you need to drink about six to eight galsses of water a day to replace fluids.

Grated with other raw stuff with light mayonaise is really nice and you can eat that with any main meal. I love carrot cake, but doesn't do much for the waist-line unfortunatley!
