I think its a good idea, But they will probably think we are nosy. I used to do most of the talking at the dinner table, this way everyone can have there say. My Grandson (8) and my daughter live with me, and each night at dinner we guess what he had for lunch at school. and then she asks him different questions about his day. she tries to incorporate a serious question and some fun ones. He really looks forward to it.

Yes, it is. Your children will know that you are interested in their lives and it helps them know to share with you so there are no secrets later. It's very important they can trust you and come to you when they really need your help.

if parents don't take the time out to listen to there children.there more likely to turn somewhere(gangs) or perverts on-line(older people wanting 2 do nasty things to them or runaway

100 % AGREED!!!...that's one of the problems these kids are having nowadays-they have no one to talk to,so,they turn to their friends or anyone who will listen...thus,comes drugs,teen pregnancy,rape,anything else
