Lemme change this. If he asked you out, he wants more. He IS ALWAYS gonna want more. He likes being your friend, but he is also your friend in hopes of being more. If you dont he might eventually change, if he gets to like you too much. Look, if you dont date him. Remember, he always has the feeling he wants to be more. So him seeing you with other guys and stuff, when he feels he has been nice to you and you didnt ever give him a chance, might make him stop being your friend. If you really like him, just give him his chance. If it doesnt work out, be the bigger person and do your best to make him feel comforatable again, and you guys can probably finish good friends.

I would say yes. Obviously, you guys feel the same way about one another-you will never know but one way or the other you are going to have to take a chance?or risk? If you say no, then you are possibly losing out on a good relationship or true love. If you say yes, it could ruin your relationship as friends. However, to me in order to have a relationship that will last, you have to be friends anyway.

Yes I think you should go out on date with him. Look at it on the good side, you both should know a lot about each other. Just let him know that you like and respect your friendship and don't want to ruin that. Go out on the date and have fun in a friendly way, and if it leads to something else just go with the flow. Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable doing though! Good Luck

Sorry to say but your relationship just ended. As soon as a guy asks you out he no longer want to be just friends. Just tell him no and find a new friend because he will quit hanging out with you, wind up stalking you, or spread rumors about you to keep other guys away while he comes up with a new plan to make you like him. By the way if he does anythng but the first option, he is a loser and get as far from him as you can.

dating probably won't ruin your friendship.since you guys have been friends for so long you already get along really well and making conversation won't be a problem. I say go for it and have fun. It could be the best realtionship you've ever had, and if it doesn't work out im sure you guys will still be friends..i dated my best friend we decided to go back to just friends and everything was fine. now were closer than ever.

if you don't want to ruin the relationhship then say no, but say it in a nice way. You could just go out and have fun and not worry about it. Best friends can go out and have a great time. You never know what might happen. He could turn out to be a wonderful guy and you might want more.

If you want value your friendship more then no...don't go on a date. But you like him more then a friend then just take it slow and see what happens. Don't get too physical too fast it'll ruin your relationship with him and you may lose him all together.

Go out with him but let him know it's just as friends and let him know how you feel about dating him. If he knows you well then he should understand. Make sure he understands you don't want to ruin what you have now.
