So....generally speaking, are guys usually the one popping the question and ask the girl out or it doesn't matter?
Same with other aspects in a relationship....should guys have more initiative in most things?

Yes, your first statement is correct. Generally, the guys should ask the girl out.
I know that a lot of people on this board disagree, but most of them are young liberals and clueless.
An exception might be that if someone is really outstanding, you could invite him to a family barbeque or something like that.
And yes, he generally initiates the first kiss, ect. Bear in mind, however, that the signals and vibes you send out will have a drastic effect on the whole situation, from the ask-out point onward.
I assure that a girl or woman has enough tools and ways about her, that she doesn't need to ask a man out directly. Most men are very weak and easy, when it comes to women.
This is basically the advice I would give to a daughter.

It depends on the girl. Now a days I think it can go both ways were girls and boys can both initiate. I think if she is a shy girl you are going to have to take the first steps. If she is outgoing and likes you she will make a move. But I am thinking if you like her why wait. Life is too short. Go for it and ask her out and make the moves when it is appropriate time :)

Dude it really doesnt matter. But most girls just cant build of the guts to do it. Only a handful. Us guys just seem to be able to initiate things better. Its just el naturale. So if your thinking of waiting for a girl to say something. Never wait. If a girl does thats cool. But never wait. You gotta be the guy to do it.

Historically, that is the way things have been done. I still go by that but that is just me. However, there are starting to be more women ask guys out. But people are starting to be more open about everything no days.

Generations of tradition say the guy should.. not that i completely agree with it..But thats just how it is.

Nah, I really don't think it matters. More and more women are taking it upon themselves to go after what they want. And if it means being the first to initiate stuff, then don't be freaked out, take it as it comes and just be happy that your mate wants you!!

usually it is the guy, but ther is no rule book that says guys have to, personally, i like it when a girl makes a move first in anything

The guy should ask the girl out. I think that if a guy cant gather enough courage to ask her out then he isnt worth her time.
