The more unusual the surname the easier it is to trace but it is odd that a google search doesn't turn up anything.

Ancestry.com turned up a few hits for "Lazarob", but I could get NO hits on any major genealogical search engines for "Lazarobbih".

Does the original spelling use all western characters as you have it in your question, or are there any international characters (vowels with accents, cyrrilic (Russian)), etc?

You can respond by adding "details" to your question and I'll see it. Or, you could contact me via my profile. I'll get it as email.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck !

Followup: Those hits I got were all in the U.S. Census for 1930 and the head of household, Joseph Lazarob, was born in Magyarorszag, Austria, around 1863.
