so i like this guy. He is a year younger than me(i'm 17) and i dont know what to do. He is german and he is moving back to germany in about six months, should i just give up on him and be friends or should i tell him that i like him. I don't know if it would be pointless. please help.....thanks

under the circumstances i personaly wouldnt, because if you tell him you like him and he likes you and you get close, it will be hard to let him go when he goes back to germany!! for your own feelingd your better off just not getting close to him in the first place you have to protect yourself!!! thats just a personal opinion though!!

well...u can do w/e u like and tell him if u want since u technically will have nothing to lose...
BUT it might not be the choice that u will get full results from
there are many problems with this, in my opinion:
1. hes younger, and MAYBE a little less mature
2. he's leaving in 6 months and you probably will not see him again
3. long distance relationships are very possible, but hard to balance
4. u might feel awkward after from going out with a younger boy
so...my advice is to be friends and mayb tell him that u like him in like his last week of school if u still do ( just so that u know u atleast got it out and wont have regrets)

Well snowlily, if you like him you should tell him that, but if you don't then you should just tell him that you want to be friends. Oh and since he's moving back to germany then tell him that you both will keep in contact by exchanging numbers.

Knowing what I know now (I've seen many decades of life), I would stay friends. You could tell him that you like him as a friend. Let's say, after you spend an evening with him, tell him you really enjoy his company and you're glad that you've spent some time getting to know him.
Other than that, let it go.

Stop liking him in that way. It would be pointless to date him anyway if he is moving back to Germany.

I think you should tell him how you feel, but tell him that if he doesn't feel the same you don't want your friendship to change. And get his address so you two can write letters to each other when he moves back.

I think you should go ahead and tell him that you like him and then go out with him for 6 months. It'll be hard to let him go but it'll be worth it so you're not asking yourself 'what if' a few years from now!

You guys are young, so besides the internet, you would not have any means of communication once he leaves the states. I would say, just be friends with him.
