that people are not supposed to have sex until after they are married, if you are christian. but i have seen/heard of/known of more and more people who are not waiting. is this 'rule' just becoming more ignored or are there less christians in the world?

well the golden rule was ignored a long time ago, waht alot of people mostly young adults who think they know everything need to realize it's not a game. Your taking a chance of getting a STD or getting pregnant everytime you have sex unprotected. And when they do it's everybody else's fault not there's. But remember it's your body take care of it. Well it's got nothing to do with christianity but morals where parents will do everything for their kids and don't realize to explain what their responsiblities are. Especially when something happens and it's someone's fault my son/daughter knows better.

u dont have to be a christian to wait until ur married, first of all. christians do bad things too, its not just athiests or muslims or jews that do horrible, wicked things. i just wanted to get that clear.

AND its not a rule to wait, either. if u love each other and u feel ur ready then why not have sex.

just because u think otherwise does NOT mean that ppl should feel the same way.

I didn't wait for marriage--I'll admit it, and it was HAMMERED into me all throughout my youth and teens. My 'first' was my husband, albeit two years before we were married. A boyfriend of mine dumped be because I wasn't active and it was part of his 'lifestyle'--it didn't matter to me because I wasn't ready to begin with. My hubby and I have been together for 11 years now, and I can tell you, that boyfriend that I had (we are friends now) has told me many times that he didn't realize what he had because he was living in a 'me' state. I'm so glad I 'waited' for my hubby!
