going to Amsterdam tomorrow what cant i take and bring back with me? i dress very gothic and punk so is there anything thats a definate no no? i dont go abroad very often either so i wouldnt know. im sailing from the uk... can i take food with me? as iv heard its expensive...plus any advice when im over there? im 18 and oblivious to the world unforunatly so im eager to find out!

Don't take or bring back dope. There is pleanty there.
Its a very diverse and accepting place so dress as you please - you will urely have your eyes opened over there!
Its only expensive to eat cos your a tourist and you will eat in a resturant every night, it would be expensive to do that here.
Keep your wits about you esp if you go for a look at the red light district there are a lot of 'looky looky' men (usually black) (thats a fact not a racist comment BTW) who will try to sell u coke, E, Speed and even dope, ignore them, keep walking and don't engage in conversation. Even if drugs are your thing don't deal with these people as they take u to dodgy flats and rob ya.
It is a city afterall so there is crime but stay out of the dodgy bits at night and you'll be fine!
Enjoy the experiance, it is a lovely city!
Oh and try and do something touristy like the Ann Frank museum or Van Gough - I got to stoned and missed it all!

If your into dope only buy it in coffee bars-ask
and they provide.Food isn't expensive if u go eat
in the right bars(no need to drink)You can bring
back cigs or tobacco if u smoke.If not sell it when u return to cover part of cost.Take orders
from family friends and neighbours.
From Dam square (when u come out of Central
St walk straight down)u find most routes to any
where.Enjoy.

You clearly cannot bring back drugs. People try an dpost them back, but get busted also.

dont take food , plenty of places do hot food out of vending machines . you can live on chips with maonaise followed by space cake .enjoy yerself

I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU CAN TAKE IN BUT I KNOW WHAT MY SON BROUGHT BACK READY MADE JOINTS AND NO THE FOODS NOT EXPENSIVE.
