It depends at what age. When you're younger it is in the form of teasing. Then it turns into joking and laughing a lot with someone. Then it becomes more an attraction and showing the other person you think they're pretty or handsom. Then, it turns into social skills, someone you can easily talk to and get a long with really well. What should you do? Make sure to keep the conversation going with him. If a guy does not think you are interested he might lose interest. We are not very patient and dont like to play the "flirt" game for a long period of time. Make it clear you are interested.

If they stare at your boobs, that's a sign of interest...
But it depends on the guy.
Some are the quiet type and can't even make eye contact with you without choking up.
Others play it cool, and try to flirt by tickling you, poking you.. any 'touchy-feely' kind of thing.
The guy who leans back in his chair, arches his back, puffs his chest, and puts his arms behind his head - is flirting.
Sometimes if we are talking in the hallway I find they walk real slow with me.

ok ok ok when a guy flirts he always smiles about everything. Also he needs to be looking at you constintly. One thing that noticed about a guy is that he touches you. I mean not like in a wrose why but he talks and he uses hand motions in a touching way.

Umm well we mess around with chicks and we tease them we say they're sexy and sometimes hit them and at dances we grind and all the other things but there are too many to type down.
To flirt back u can hit them back act all sluttish and grind at dances.

or if he keeps touching u
or if he keeps talking to u even more then he usaly did
u should flirt back by twrilling ur hair when u 2 talk
