was in hospital sunday morning, 3hours on a drip, pain n nausea injection. bloodwork showed an infection.?

on 3 different pills from hospital. i haven't eaten very much since then, but last night in the bath i felt something strange in my rectum. my anus appears to be closed over. i can pass wind, but anything else doesn't look likely. would it be all the medication? or should i just take some laxatives?
