Try mainly tents, conex containers or in vehicles.

Of course they wear dog tags. There are two on the chain. One of them is on a shorter chain around the one that goes around your neck and has the other tag. The one on the short chain is pulled off if you are killed and turned in for record keeping. The other one, if possible, is placed edgewise between you two upper front teeth and lower front teeth, then your jaw is given a kick to wedge it in. That is so the remains can be identified later if they must be buried in the field, left in the field, etc. etc.

Depends on where they are....And they are called Squad Bays not dormitories Dog tags are to be kept on at ALL times even when off duty. Some of our men and women over there sleep in their vehicles, tents, outside, anywhere they can get a few ZZZZZ's

this is kind of a broad question but here goes, some of the bases in iraq have rooms that are shared with one or more roomates, some sleep in large rooms with many roomates, some missions require you to sleep in your vehicles. dogtags are a definate, they are part of your required uniform

It all depends where you are. During the war, I slept on top of my fuel tanker. When we moved into a bombed out building we had 10 to a decent size room. Not much room for each of us, but at least we has a cot to sleep on. We had no electricity, heat or AC, but that was in 2003. Now they have all the comforts of home. Better, but still not home.

I slept in a tent with 7 other soldiers unless I was on a mission - sometimes we slept ouside, sometimes we slept in our trucks - it all depended on the circumstance. Dog tags are a definite - worn at ALL times. Every FOB, CSC and base is different in its accomodations. Some have buildings, some tents, some have no roommates, some have several - just depends where you are at and what's available.

Depends on location rank and unit rotation.

I had a room mate our junior enlisted slept four to a room in many cases. As our replacements rotated in we had to double up until we rotated to Baghdad where we stayed in tents for a few days until we flew.

it depends on what your mission is, what your job is and where you are stationed at. could be a vehicle, a tent, a bombed out building or a trailer. dog tags are a must. not only for identification, but to hold medical alerts as well.
