4 billion cash and 4 billion stock, but not until Delta comes out of Bankruptcy ... Since Delta is larger than US Airways, a Legacy carrier and ifthey can get through bankruptcy, they wont NEED US Airways ...

Their current bid is $8 billion. They earlier made a bid for a merger which Delta rejected. Given that both airlines have gone through bankruptcies it is not without its risks.

8 billion... 4 billion in cash and 4 billion in stocks.... the CEO of Delta says he's not interested, but the creditors have much to say.... there will be more on this... stay tuned.
