Tell your parents that it's the 21st century.
Just go out with the guy behind your parents back. If you see him at school then thats 5 days a week from like 8 til 3:20! (well our timing) you'd get to spend more time with your bf then i would usually get to. My sister is 13 and in year 8 and she wouldn't tell us anything if she had a bf... just go for it! i mean, the next few years are gonna change you a lot and heaps of doors will open for you to go and explore. I can't stand controlling parents, i had bf's without my parents knowing, went to parties and passed out when i was underage... yeh okay you don't have to do that but honestly... your 14... it's not like your getting married or anything? there's a lil boy who likes you!

Do the right thing which is what your parents want you to do. They do know what is best for you. Talk to the guy, tell him the scoop and if he really does like you....then he will understand. If he does ask you out - explain to him the situation and maybe talk to your parents, too. But, you can make it through high school w/o a boyfriend, it is possible.

One: You should wait until your at least 16 to worry about a b/f.
Two: If you start sneaking around behind your parents back, you will have to think about their trusting you doing anything else. If you lose trust you CAN LOSE EVERYTHING and it would take a long time to get it back.
Three: Do like my G-Daughter did, she just told them she can't date until she is at least 16 and then only group dateing. And yes she has a LOT of friends of both sexes.
Four: If the boy respected you he would have no problem about not being able to date, but you could still get together at your house or his.

If he asks you to go with him, sit down and explain to him what your situation is. Tell him that he is your crush, but your parents are quite strict. Ask him what he would do. Communication is quite important! But I agree with a previous answer: Concentrate on your studies and class work. Guys will be in your life soon enough!

im sorry to say but ur parents are strict at all... my parents didnt want me to date till i was like 21-25. High school will go by so fast, maybe you should just pay attention to your school work, and then get a boyfriend.... you should wait as long as you can to get a bf, because they can cause so much drama in your life...

You don't always have to listen to your parents... you wouldn't be a teenager if you always listened to what they told you. It's your life, and you need to experience things. Go out with the kid, just make sure your rents don't find out.
But if you decide not to, it's fine to go through high school without a bf. Just get more friends, love.
