The Key to the Book of Job was that Job broke down GOD's Hedge of Protection by getting into Fear.
Job said the Thing that I have "Greatly Feared" has come upon me.
Fear opens up the Door for the devil to Attack you and have a better Chance at Succeeding.
Devils agonna attack us Anyway.
Sometime, somehow.
devil Seeks whom he "May" devour.
he May not Devour Us, Especially if you are Walking in Faith.
No Weapon Formed against Us, "Shall Prosper". Faith will keep it from Prospering.
Hope this helps.

The Bible tells us some techniques that we would keep in mind that the Bible is authentic. contained in the Bible God tells us that He replaced into going to provide His followers the present of the Holy Ghost with power. right now there are thousands of human beings that received the Holy Ghost and so that they have diverse presents like speaking in an unlearned tounge, prophecy, presents of healings and extra. the perfect presents that help those who do not have self assurance are the present of healing and prophecy. attempt calling the Apostolic and Penticostal church buildings on your section. Ask them it there is every person in that chruch that has both of those presents (except you do not want any actual healing, then for sure ask if anybody has the present of prophecy). Be common with them, tell them that you do not have self assurance that the Bible or God are authentic, yet that you're open to evidence. in the journey that they don't have anybody who can provide you with a message from God, then ask them in the journey that they understand of a church the position you may call. The prophecy could be spacific, some project that few if now no one else can study about. A note of causion, for most persons, the presents that maximum persons have are literally not continually energetic. although that's different from individual to individual. some human beings have the present to heal one project really, some one else can heal maximum issues. some human beings can supply absolutely everyone a prophecy, others can really do it now and again. So once you do attempt to not in any respect some thing occurs the first time, supply it yet another probability (and also you'll keep searching for someone with a extra energetic present).

In Job's case, Satan showed up at a meeting that should have been attended by Adam who gave up his right by selling his dominion. Later satan and his angels where cast out of heaven. Although Satan is still the accuser of the breatheren, he won't be tempting God to treat us as Job in order to find out if we only serve God because He gives us so much favor.
You know first hand as well as I that God does allow things to come to us that seem too much. However we stand on His word thatHe will never gives us more than we can bear. But always brings us to a place of surrender where we can no longer rely on the am of flesh. In our weakness He is strong.
Take heart and know that the things you do in secret which glorify our Father, He will reward you openly when our time here is done.
In my search for truth I have found the Seventh Day Adventist's to have the best understanding of God and His Chracter. They may not be the most loving people in the world, but when it comes to scriptural truth I believe they are the best.

Yes always. This is why it is so important to say The Lords Prayer every day. It's the "deliver us from evil" that takes care of this because if you remember it was Satan saying to God "Oh sure, they love you now but, just wait till a little trouble comes along" So anyway pray daily and trust he will deliver you.

Yes I think God still allows testing today. Satan is the Prince of the Earth and God has allowed him to wander wherever. But God always provides a way to pass the test. We are only tested to what we are able to take. However that does not make the testing easier to take. Its a struggle and like Job we question God's wisdom. But in the end we usually see growth in our lives.

1 Peter 4:12-19 12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; 13 but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing; so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation. 14 If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15 By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; 16 but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but in that name let him glorify God. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner? 19 Therefore, let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

Many people suffer just as Job did. Everyone suffers in different ways. Some people suffer because of their own doing to. If you are talking to women preachers then thats not of God. God gave a outline in Timothy what a preacher should be. Use that in searching for the right one.

There are many different denominations, religious movements, cults and isms of all kinds. God did not send them they are not speaking His word but still they accept the teachings of men rather than the teachings of the Bible.
There are many who are speaking in the name of God but they are not of God and these kinds of things do show us how powerful the lie can be.
We can be misled and can sincerely believe a lie and also show us how gullible people we can be.
Many have fallen away from the truth because they are misguided to believe in the false doctrines of evil men that have corrupted God's truth.
Jesus is telling us that we have power over these evil men because of the one who lives in us is greater than the one who is in world.
True Christians have a common fellowship around the truth because it is written, "My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me." John 10:27
Jesus says that His sheep will follow Him, will follow the truth John 14:6, and they will not follow a stranger speaking contrary to the truth.

Although not as severly as Job, we are tried and tested every day. All the clergy you have been disappointed in, it sounds as if they are not in the misistry for the right reason, and any Christian who would turn their back on you will have to answer for it at the White Judgement Throne. God bless
