If you are already with someone you dont want to be with, the best thing would be to break it off.. why waist your and even his time pretending to be in a relationship.

Even if you have to move back home for a short time because of financial commitments.
Keep your friend as a friend, for now.. once you move back home your friend might make a move on you to start dating but i think if he has waited this long to be with you ... He can wait a little longer.

You need time to work out what you want.. and not everyone else around you.. This will take time.. Find you .. Then be you .

just the fact that you are considering potential romance with your best friend is a sign that you are not totally happy with your current boyfriend...

then again, the grass always seems greener on the otherside.. he may be a great best-friend, but that won't necessarily mean he would be a great boyfriend..

but overall, i know many cases where best friends ended up together and doing just fine!

do some serious thinking about your current boyfriend.. if you are unhappy with your current relationship, then get out and start dating your best friend. if not, then stay the course.

only big risk here is that if you start dating your best friend, and then break up, it will be very tough to rekindle that old friendship.. once you cross that line, you can't go back..

To put it bluntly, you are playing the games with both of the guys. Get your head straight, get rid of the "not the greatest" then spend time with the friend as a friend. Do not encourage the friend at this point because first you have to get what you want in a good perspective.

If you see a future with your best friend chances are he is the one for you. Leave your boyfriend so you can have time before jumping into a relatioship with your best friend

I have one of those too. I wish he had never told me, but you know I think I may end up married to him one day. He knows everything about me and I know everything about him, and we still have a deep love for each other.

Good luck

it's possible to love him as just a friend & if thats the case you should make that clear. he could end up being a life long best friend as long as you're honest about how you feel

tell him that i only see us beeing friends. i have this really close friend too. he is like a brother to me, but i would never go out with him because i think if we went out it might hurt our friendship and i dont wouldnt want that to happen because he always there for me. i just say that you should tell him and that you should just be friends

it sounds to me you don't want to be his boyfriend and you want to see other people and if you do let him know or sit down and talk because you like another boy but i not telling you what to do look in your heart and see if you really love him and see what happens

It's all about the chemistry. Does the best friend make your heart go pitter pat? If the answer is no, then strictly a friend.

Go for the best friend, they are the ones who know you best and will always be there.
