I have been assigned the "green bean casserole" for our Thanksgiving meal. I usually make it the old fashioned standard way - green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, french fried onions, black pepper. Any of ya'll have any extra little touches you add to this?

When I want to add a little something extra to a dish I mix in chopped black olives. The flavor is mellow enough to give the dish a little extra kick and won't overwhelm the taste of the Casserole. Give it a try. Happy Thanksgiving and Enjoy!
